3T Consulting was founded on a simple, powerful truth: Lasting transformation doesn’t come from tools or processes alone — it comes from developing the people who use them.
With deep roots in the Toyota Production System and over two decades of industry experience, our team combines hands-on operational knowledge with strategic insight. We’ve seen what works, what doesn’t, and why most improvement efforts fail to stick.

Alex Ramirez
Founder & Principal Consultant, Total Team Transformation Consulting
Alex Ramirez is an internationally experienced operations leader, Lean culture builder, and transformation coach with over 24 years of experience leading industrial change across three continents. His career spans complex global operations, multimillion-dollar projects, and a journey of deep Lean learning, from tools and systems to people and culture.
Alex began his career as a mechanical engineer and rose through the ranks of Vallourec, where he led operations in North America and France, eventually becoming Industrial Director and Lean Deployment Leader. He’s overseen the successful consolidation of manufacturing sites, the design and launch of new facilities, and the cultural transformation of entire organizations including a 32% productivity improvement and a zero-accident safety turnaround in under two years.
But it was his realization after years of traditional Lean efforts ,that tools alone don’t transform organizations. People do.
That insight sparked a new direction. Alex shifted from deploying Lean tools to developing Lean thinkers, using routines (katas), respect-based leadership, and practical engagement to build cultures where improvement sticks. In 2021, his team earned the 2 Second Lean Excellence Award, and in 2023, Alex was named Global Lean Coach of the Year at the International 2 Second Lean Summit in Ireland.
Today, through 3T Consulting, Alex helps leaders go beyond compliance and surface change, guiding them to build real Lean cultures that grow people, align purpose, and achieve lasting results.
